Why Do People Lie?

Lying is a part of human's life. People lie because avoding an unpleasant social situation or avoiding puishment. Sometimes, people may lie for entertainment or to escape embarrassment. Lying is an important skill as long as it is not overdone. On the other hand, it can be dangerous in some situation that lies come from pepople trying to make themselves seem more important.

Pirates

This lesson talks about the pirates in the past and nowadays. Pirates attack the ship whether it is berthed, at anchor or at sea with th intent to commit theft. But, piracy on the high sea is far less common than the everyday piracy of intellectual property that may of us practice. They discourages innovation and adds to the cost of the product. To defend against piracy, the intellcetual property industry has been trying several approaches, including education, leagal prosecution, copy protection and compromise. Today's pirates have good reason to stop stealing and obey the law.

The First Secret Codes

This lesson talks about the secret codes and the examples of different kinds of it. There are transposition ciphers, block ciphers, substitution ciphers and book ciphers. The most special one is substitution ciphers which is tricked by Mary, Queen of Scots, using her own secret code. In this lesson, I realize how the code work and it is also intered.

Every day we have to receive a great deal of information. Much of this information comes from TV, Ads and internet, etc. We may not have choice to be unseeing with that but we can choose not to believe them. The reason is that there are too much scams. One of the most common scams that has circulated as an email involves a person who supposedly wants to give away some money. We should be careful when we read on the internet. If you want to buy something on the internet, it is better to check the comments from others. Don't just because it is cheaper than others,or you may be deceived!
